Sopra Steria strengthens Life Sciences training in Flanders through strategic partnership with ViTalent

As digital transformation reshapes the Life Sciences industry, the need for robust Computerized System Validation (CSV) expertise has never been greater. Recognizing this, Sopra Steria has partnered with ViTalent, Flanders’ only dedicated hands-on Life Sciences training center, to deliver a comprehensive, practice-oriented CSV training program.

Founded in 2020 and based in the Science Park of the University of Antwerp, ViTalent offers state-of-the-art facilities, including a 1,000 m² technical training hall containing a didactic cleanroom, a packaging line, and a process installation to replicate real GMP production environments. However, ViTalent’s training offer extends the GMP area. That is why ViTalent has partnered with Sopra Steria’s experts to provide in-depth CSV training for professionals seeking to ensure quality and compliance across digital systems.

The collaboration bridges an important skills gap in the Flemish Life Sciences sector, where the complexity of regulatory and digital validation requirements continues to grow. “We already knew the Sopra Steria Life Sciences department through their Young Professionals Program, whose employees often participate in our GMP-related trainings,” says ViTalent’s General Director, Veerle Van der Linden. “When it came to CSV, a topic requiring up-to-date, field-tested expertise, we reached out to Sopra Steria. Their knowledge quickly convinced us of the value they could bring. They now provide an on-demand, full-day CSV training at our facility, covering everything from GxP regulations to system retirement, enriched with practical tips and insights.”

For Sopra Steria, this partnership exemplifies its commitment to advancing digital quality and compliance within Life Sciences. By combining deep regulatory knowledge, technical expertise, and a hands-on learning approach, Sopra Steria’s experts help professionals and organizations stay at the forefront of industry standards while supporting the continued growth of Flanders’ Life Sciences ecosystem.
