Sopra Steria as consortium partner of PwC EU Services EEIG, has been awarded a major framework contract for Advisory and Consulting services in the field of Information and Communication Technology by the European Commission. This inter-institutional contract allows all EU institutions, Agencies and Bodies across Europe, to procure high level advice and consultancy services covering a wide area of key topics and domains in the area of ICT over a duration of 4 years. The Sopra Steria/PwC consortium was ranked 2nd amongst the eight contractors of this multiple framework contract.

Sopra Steria, alongside PwC1, will deliver its consulting expertise in areas where it already has a strong track record, such as digital transformation, support to the implementation of EU directives in IT projects, advice on interoperability of trans-European systems and e-government services, the use of new innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain or the Internet of Things (IoT), data management and big data processing, cybersecurity, and many others.

With its digital transformation consulting brand composed of more than 3000 experts in Europe, Sopra Steria supports its clients, not only to study and analyse their needs, but to design genuinely actionable strategies with tangible results, using a differentiating approach that connects digital transformation to the reality of business on the field. "The trust that the European Commission has placed in Sopra Steria's consulting brand strengthens our position on the market and confirms our ambition to grow and assert ourselves as a credible and key player in the digital transformation consulting market " says Michel LORGERE, Sopra Steria Benelux CEO.

The users of this contract include the EU Institutions, Agencies and Bodies across the European Union. The primary function of these bodies and agencies is to translate policies into realities on the ground.
